Production Time

Due to our current repair workload, the turnaround time for this custom iPod is up to 30 business days. We have reduced our pricing again, but please understand that each unit is built by hand and requires additional time to complete.

Storage Options

We only use genuine Samsung microSD cards together with iFlash adapters to ensure the highest reliability and compatibility. At this time, we offer 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB configurations only. We do not offer larger capacities because we have not found higher-capacity cards that meet our reliability standards.

Color Variation

Please note that the color shown in the listing photos may vary slightly from the product you receive. There are multiple shades of gray and black, and our suppliers may occasionally send a slightly different tone than what is pictured. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these minor cosmetic color variations.

Click Wheel Quality

Every genuine Apple click wheel is fully tested before installation. We reuse original Apple click wheels whenever possible, replacing only the plastic cover with a brand-new, high-quality overlay. This preserves the original Apple feel and reliability while giving it a fresh appearance.

Order Status Updates

You will receive the same order tracking page we provide to our repair customers, allowing you to monitor the progress of your iPod throughout the entire build process.

Memory Card Testing

Every microSD card is fully formatted and tested using H2testw before installation. This process verifies the card's full capacity and checks for any read or write errors. Only memory cards that successfully pass our quality control testing are installed in your iPod.

Cosmetic Condition

Although we take great care during assembly, minor cosmetic scratches may occasionally occur during installation. In addition, some new replacement parts may arrive from our suppliers with very small cosmetic marks. We carefully inspect every device and do our best to minimize these imperfections, but minor cosmetic blemishes may occasionally be present. ]

This device is listed as used because Apple no longer manufactures iPod Classic devices and original motherboards available today have been previously used. However, this is not a standard used iPod — it has been professionally rebuilt, upgraded, assembled, configured, and fully tested before shipping.

Rockbox & FLAC Support

This configuration is ideal for customers building large high-quality music libraries, including FLAC (lossless audio) files.

Rockbox supports audio formats not available on the original Apple firmware and allows easier management of large music collections.

Combined with 512GB storage, this setup is perfect for users who want higher audio quality, larger libraries, and drag-and-drop music management without depending on iTunes.

Bluetooth & Audio

Internal Bluetooth uses the UGREEN CM872 module integrated with the Hold Lock / Click function.

Instructions are included.

For maximum audio quality, especially with FLAC files, wired headphones through the original headphone jack are recommended.

Bluetooth provides convenience and flexibility while wired listening provides the best possible sound quality.

Adding Music with Rockbox

Rockbox removes the need for iTunes.

Simply connect the iPod to your computer using the USB cable, open the device storage, and drag and drop music files directly to the device just like using a USB flash drive.

Supported formats include:

MP3

AAC

ALAC

WAV

and many more.

After transferring music, safely eject the device and Rockbox will automatically detect and organize your library.

No iTunes syncing required.

Battery Information

This build includes a 3000mAh battery compared to the original Apple battery rated around 680mAh.

Because of the larger capacity, charging times may be longer than stock.

Playback time and battery life are significantly improved.

Storage Quality

We use premium name-brand storage such as Samsung and SanDisk for reliability and long-term performance.

We avoid cheap generic storage that may cause file corruption, missing songs, restore problems, fake capacities, or long-term reliability issues.

Build Time

This is a custom-built device.

Please allow approximately 10–20 business days before shipment for assembly, configuration, testing, and final preparation.

Quality Update

To ensure the highest reliability, every storage card used in our custom iPods is now individually tested with a full-capacity verification before installation. This process takes over two hours per card and helps us eliminate counterfeit or defective storage before it reaches our customers.

Because of the additional testing and quality control, our prices have increased slightly, and build times may be a little longer. We believe it's worth the extra time to deliver a more reliable product and reduce the chance of future issues.
